St. Patrick’s Day is on Friday, but in preparation, let’s take a look at a mention of him in my new Loyola Kids Book of Seasons, Feasts and Celebrations.
There are four major sections in the book: Sunday; Advent & Christmas; Lent & Easter and then a section called Our Days Together which includes Ordinary Time, and then a month-by-month look at other notable celebrations – mostly saints’ feast days – with a very brief biography and a few notes on how the feast is celebrated around the world and why.
So, here’s part of March. You’ll note that each month also mentions the traditional devotional focus for that month – here, St. Joseph.
