And we’re back

No, I didn’t go anywhere, but we did have a visitor for about a week, during which time I essentially revisited almost every one of our past homeschooling/kid haunts in the Birmingham area: Zoo, science museum, trampoline park, Bass Pro Shop, splash pad etc. Also Alabama Theatre and the Wizard of Oz! The only omission was the art museum which a) was less than accessible because of the World Games and b) has apparently not re-opened their kid-activity area yet, so there was no real reason to go there this time.

But I knew all that would come in handy again some day.

Even The Teachable Moments!

Wow.

Now, the Next Thing looms and it’s a doozy, both for our family and for me personally. Let’s just say:

Between the England trip and this past week’s visitor, we’ve not had time to Get Serious, but today we did, which means here you go, Target, Amazon (sorry), Wal Mart & REI…take muh money.

Oh, you thought it meant, tears and emotion?
