Free Book on St. Mary Magdalene

June 13, 2016 by Amy Welborn

Given a little push by the Vatican’s move to elevate  MM’s day from memorial to feast, I fDe-Coding Mary Magdaleneinally obtained a pdf text of my 2006 book De-Coding Mary Magdalene: Truth, Legend and Lies, and have tossed it up here for you to download and share.

It’s still got all the pre-publication markings on it, and if I knew how to remove them, I would, but I don’t, so there they are.

UPDATE!  Many thanks to Steven McEvoy of Book Reviews and More for voluntarily, without being asked, coming forward and removing the markings! Thanks so much, Steven!

Add it to the collection, then. Other free pdf downloads of our out-of-print books (all in pdf format):

The Power of the Cross (free e-book)

Mary and the Christian Life (free e-book)

Come Meet Jesus – An Invitation from Pope Benedict XVI (free e-book)

Enjoy and share!

It's the Feast of the Annunciation - a few pages from my books related to the feast.  Most are published by @LoyolaPress. For more: Me on a certain element of John Wick 4. You can...probably guess which one.  Some thoughts on #solotravel and the #emptynest which of course turns into a Big Ol' Metaphor... "...as I get older, my position in this body seems to be shifting. Sitting in the front speaks of a life centered on quieting, teaching, forming and directing, of a time of life when molding and shaping other people is your job and actually seems possible. A short video with photos from my February trip to Matera #Italy . Portions of "The Passion of the Christ" and "No Time to Die," as well as several other movies were filmed here. More at March 19 is the Solemnity of St. Joseph. (It will be celebrated tomorrow, 3/20 in the US).
