I just made these because I had a few minutes before basketball practice. After I finished and went back and looked at the Pin, I realized that the original pinner had said not to bother with the sugar. Maybe that’s why mine are just a bit more crumbly and not as pretty. But they taste good – nice and chewy (let them cool completely). And just a few ingredients – the Nutella, flour, egg & (maybe) sugar. You will feel positively Chopped-tastic as you throw these together in no time.
I also didn’t use Nutella. I used this – which I’m assuming is the same thing (“nocciole” meaning hazelnut) , only a little more pricey – an item I bought at Castroni’s in Rome essentially because I liked the packaging. Really. I don’t care about Nutella. I like retro packaging, that’s all.
