    Black and white increases detail…love the bottom picture. Large format cameras ( curtain over head cameras/ Anselm Adams) increase detail. When young I bought a very large, expensive, color, large format photo of two American Indian girls’ faces from the side…profile. Sfumato of rembrandt brown fills almost the whole picture other than their faces. Loved it ever since and it’s 8 feet away from me now. White feather in each of their hair.
