LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog, Amy; and I especially enjoy the entries you make re:homeschooling since I am in that boat myself. I, too, am a single parent (not by choice) who is also an introvert -- so much so that during the pregnancy of my one & only child, my biggest fear of having a child was that of losing quiet time/space so I could hear myself think. Evidently, God thought it best to bless me (and I am very blessed!) with an EXTROVERTED child who is drawing me out of myself.

Anyway, your entries for 1 & 2 (above) could have come from my mouth, word for word with the exception of the blogging reference, since I don't ;). Thanks for making me laugh, and for helping me connect in a way that relieves the isolation I sometimes feel.

God bless you and your children, and your homeschool!

Her articulation of faith is amazing and true. The only slight problem is that her allusions to Baptism are rather Catholic, theologicaly, and not evangelical. (ie, she speaks of baptism as regenerative and cleansing.)

And I've concluded re Daniel's guilt...that he doesn't know whether he committed the crime or not himself..

Come Holy Spirit give me the grace of replying fast before the comments section closes on blog posts of interest.

Missed commenting (question, really) on this the first time around but since you brought up homeschooling again, here it goes. A while back in a post (thank you, by the way, for all the interesting tips to bookmark and research) you wrote:

"I am an introvert who lives for Me Time and partly because…well..how shall I put this?

My late mother, God rest her soul, was a very difficult woman. She was deeply negative and contemptuous of just about everyone."

Introverts with Difficult Mothers, a topic worthy of further exploration. Perhaps some day you will elaborate further. How do you deal with Marian devotion, for instance?
