I thought this was appropriate:
Name at the top indicates that it was my mother’s. Dates attached to the indulgences on the back indicate post-1934. What interests me is that this is a photograph – I’ve never seen a card like this. Is this a famous crucifix? Was it from a particular shrine? I don’t know.

Unusual aesthetic to it: Christ is detailed traditional realism and the cross has no detailed realism and is more like blank modern architecture. Inconsistency like that is rare and more likely modern.
I looked up the name in the lower right, Emile Brunet, and found this on the French wikipedia:

I always thought the crucifix was carved by a Trappist monk. When I was little, a close-up of the head was used for the cover of a magazine called “Sign” – it left a deep impression on me.
For those whose French is unused since high school:

Good research, Sandra. I had assumed that “Emile Brunet” was the photographer!
