So, today’s vintage Catholic ephemeral offering: From the Oratory of St. Joseph in Montreal.
The cards I’ll post will be those that appeal to me because of imagery and design. I just love the blues here and the not-quite Art-Noveauishness of it. The prayer on the back bears an Imprimateur from 1912, so perhaps the card dates from around that time.

That’s a beaut. I have special affection for this as early in my conversion story St. Joseph, patron saint of my nation, became important to me via his servant the now Saint (Bro,) Andre Bessette. Two years after our conversion I had the fortune of going on pilgrimage to Quebec City for the whole week of the 49th International Eucharistic Congress. Our priest / pilgrimage leader made sure we stopped of outside Montreal to visit the Oratory. I have since made some art of my own to honour both of these saints in relation to the oratory. Thanks for posting this.
That is lovely.
I wonder, can the proportions on the oratory, as depicted on the card, be right? Is the dome really twice as high as the body of the church? Time to hit Google images.
