The Power of the Cross

February 14, 2012 by Amy Welborn

I just received an email from a woman whose small group wants to read The Power of the Cross during Lent.  They’d bought up all the reasonably priced used copies on Amazon – OSV put the book out of print a couple of months after Mike died – and really didn’t want to spend fifty bucks on the copies that remained.  (I don’t blame them!).  She wanted to know if I had any copies. I only have a couple, which I’m not willing to let go of, but her note did remind me of how last year, I offered a pdf download of the book for (I think) a couple of dollars.

(I have been intending to self-publish this book for two years now, but just have never gotten around to it.  Every time I think I understand the various formatting requirements..a new format rolls out.  I should just pay someone to do it for me…but I’ll just do this instead.)

So…Lent is coming.  If you’d like to read The Power of the Cross during that time (or any time!) here’s the pdf for your download – formatted by Brandon Vogt a while back.

Go here to download the book, find links to the radio interview series he did on the book, and an excerpt.
