You have three symbols of God in a row there with the sun’s prescence….

Mal 4:2 But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall.

There’s something profoundly Christian about that. Many (including me) would normally consider that water tower an eyesore. But, when seen through the eyes of faith, it can be transformed into a symbol of life and love-just as Christ saw beauty in the “eyesores” of humanity. Would that I had those eyes!

What is so wonderful about this picture is that what cannot be seen is that there is a flowing fountain behind the cross(water flowing from the cross). I love how the water tower is positioned between the Sun and the Cross. Did you enhance the pink glow that forms the cross from the sun? MS Chatawa retreat was much like this picture…God’s great love shining down on humanity in all of its goodness and sufferings…His water flowed through you and us. Thank you for sharing your gifts! Estate sales will never be the same:)

    Thanks Claudia!

I know – I should have tried to get the fountain too. And no – I didn’t enhance the sun – just left it like it was!
