Did you do the Friday Dance?

December 18, 2010 by Amy Welborn

It’s common in some local subcultures.

They are dancing because A) they all have a full head of hair at that age; B) none of them are in the bond market which is turning; and C) none of them have given up dessert and the Boston cream bun at Dunkin Donuts for Advent…..so of course this sub culture is dancing.
David too was not caught in the bond market as hedge funds fled and he had a full head of hair unlike Eliseus. 2 Samuel 6:14. “Then David, girt with a linen apron, came dancing before the LORD with abandon”.
Sure….sure….live it up…dance like a grand daughter in a William Carlos Williams poem for all I care. Tomorrow is Sunday… and I can then have that Boston cream bun…and perchance a second one.

That was definitely the dance done here on Friday! I feel for all of those who go to school through the 23rd – I can’t imagine much learning is taking place by now.
