Just finished up our first daily lenten reading of a chapter from your Book of Hereos (we also use the Book of Saints). This is our third year, and now the 6 year-old is picking up some of the reading. I think my husband and I enjoy it more than the kids – thanks!

I believe equally as powerful for me was my distributing the ashes in the words in Spanish…Arrepientete y cree en el Evangelio, or Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel…It was a first for me to distribute as an Extraordinary Minister in Spanish and watching the faces of the faithful coming with looks of longing to be reminded of their frailty…Awesome
