Prayer
That scholars and intellectuals, by sincere search for the truth, may come to know the one true God.
That the Church, aware of its missionary identity, may strive to follow Christ faithfully and to proclaim his gospel to all peoples.

Obviously not in Alabama. Fort Wayne, a few years ago.

Gorgeous lighting causing that green in the foam and way out there is a large curler building.
He is me when I was that age…the blond with the older brother with the darker hair. I watch him in the photos often… but he is stronger than I was at that time.
Revelation 21:1 (NAB)… “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”
I don’t take that literally about the sea and its not being in the renewed world since much beauty would be lost were it literally true… and nothing will be lost there… but it means that radical danger will be over…Psa 89:9 “Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.” Which Christ was later to do literally when the apostles feared for their lives. Proverbs 8:29 “When he set for the sea its limit, so that the waters should not transgress his command”.
I love this photo, Amy. Your children are beautiful.
Thanks for posting these great photos and the commentary. I really enjoyed them!
