Today, RAI (Italian state television) began its marathon Bible-reading session, led off by Pope Benedict. You can find the webcast here. The connection is spotty for me, but perhaps you will have better luck. I haven’t been able to find an archived video of the Pope’s part, but I’ll let you know when I do. Or you let me know.
Here’s the Pope’s part on YouTube
Here’s Roberto Benigni reading Cain and Abel and a bit more. (Genesis 4 and 5)

There’s a schedule of readers there, too. Looks like most of them would be unfamiliar to Americans. But I see Cardinal Francis Arinze is up Oct 6 at 7:34 am (which would be Monday morning at 1:34 am, Eastern time in the USA), reading Leviticus 23. Cardinal Pio Laghi, who used to be the Vatican nuncio to the USA, is up Monday at 1:58 pm EST, reading Joshua 16 and 17. Our Cardinal Daniel DiNardo is Oct 7 at 1:23 am EST reading from 1 Kings. American Cardinal William Levada is Oct 10 at 2:00 pm EST, reading John 20.
Question: Is there a good audio version of the entire Bible in English (preferably RSV)? There’s nothing like the spoken word to stick fast in the memory…. What a blessing they’re doing this in the Basilica. I wouldn’t even mind listening to the entire thing in Italian. I find I’m able to understand almost everything, with a little Spanish and Latin under my belt.
The Pope’s reading is on YouTube – I don’t know how to link it but this is the url

I found it by searching for Papa Benedetto and sorted by date.
Thanks for doing the work to find it.
If you search you will find..im not relating to the article in question exactly but in terms of faith and the age search for the self in life it is not easy to have faith and we are constantly asked to search for it and now in modern times with the net we literally can search for the Lord
amongst all the other distractions. thankyou for the above links i will do some catching up
Quant’e` bella sentire la parola di Dio.
